Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
Period terraces and family houses across the city and the county. Much of Nottingham falls inside selective licensing designations, and where a licence is required for one of our homes, we hold it.
Portfolio landlord · Established February 2016
AMDJ Properties Limited is a portfolio landlord. Every home on our books belongs to us, which means there is no managing agent standing between a tenant and the person who can actually authorise the work. Tell us something is broken and it goes straight to whoever books the contractor.

You can check all of this yourself on the Companies House register. We would rather you did.
No call centre, no ticket that disappears. Three steps, and you can reply to any message we send you.
Step 1
Use the form, or email us. Photographs help more than anything else.
Step 2
We arrange a contractor and a time that works for you. You get a reference straight away.
Step 3
The work gets done, the paperwork is filed, and you can reply to us at any point.
Our homes are ordinary British housing — Victorian and inter-war terraces, semi-detached houses and flats — in the places people actually want to live and work. We buy in areas we know rather than wherever a yield calculator points, because a landlord who owns a street understands it.

Stone-built terraces and solid post-war housing in Northumberland and the surrounding towns — the kind of stock that has housed families for a century and, looked after properly, will do it for another.
A rented home carries a stack of legal duties that all expire on their own timetable — gas, electrical, energy performance, alarms, deposits, licensing. Most small landlords track them in their head and find out they have missed one at the worst possible moment. We do not run it that way.
Gas safety, electrical condition, EPCs and alarm checks are tracked per property with their renewal date. Nothing depends on somebody remembering.
Every report becomes a numbered job with a reference the tenant can quote. It stays open until the work is done and the paperwork is filed.
Tenant deposits go into the Deposit Protection Service, and tenants get the prescribed information. It is not optional and we do not treat it as though it were.
Homes come up rarely, because tenants tend to stay. When one does, it is listed here before it goes anywhere else. Deposits are protected with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS), and you will be given our registered address for the service of notices at the point you sign, as the law requires.
Contractors, inventory clerks, brokers and insurers: everything reaches us at one address, and a person reads it. We are a small company that owns its own stock, so the person who replies is the person who can say yes.
